4 pound trout for Brian Parks



Day 2 with the Parks family from Texas. It looked like we were going to have a little less wind this morning, but it wasn't enough! *Live shrimp and croakers were in the boat this morning as we were armed and ready. The catfish were really liking the live stuff, as only a few trout hit them. The seas finally calmed down later in the day and we picked up several trout on plastics and 4 on the live stuff. Two reds made the box and two broke off. Looked as though everyone had a tough time today, as not many trout were caught. *Wind, rough seas, and dirty water are never a good combination. Looks like the wind machine is turning off and tomorrow should be a much better day. Thanks to my crew for the great company and sticking it out, trying everything possible to put fish in the boat. Big thanks to Capt's Gerald Ellender and Josh Ellender for running the other two boats with Brad Davis and crew. **
