I never had problems with Majic Tilt. Just bought a newer boat and trailer and the new trailer is not as nice as my majictilt was. Can't remember the name of my new trailer.

My McClain had both the taillights fall off within a few months. Carpet was coming off in no time too.

I would get an aluminum trailer if I were you, and led lights. Trailer brakes are nice but you will have to do maintenance on them every few years.

I have a Coastline 24'...aluminum, no brakes but it pulls very well and I don't have any trouble stopping it. I can't comment on durability yet, but it seems to be very well built.

I have a McClain and am not that impressed. The trailer is about 5 yrs old and I have to adjust the middle guides everytime I trailer the boat. The carpet is tearing apart, which can be expected, and the tires wear unevenly. Seems like an axel may be bent. Of course I have to work on the lights every year but I guess that is expected also.

The McLain looks great.... But I had serious issues with mine. Re did total wiring 4 times n 2 years. Swapped Both axles 2x. Had bolts rust. Fender fall off, tires wore super fast & uneven. Blew 3 bearing/ hub/spindle assemblies.... The trip after leaving the shop all 3 times..... I will never own another!! The repair places in baton rouge/ denham springs are a zoo!! Each place wanted different prices; yea new trailer and under warranty.... They still wanted to charge!! I had to fight everytime!! Thry wanted to file it under " improper maintence & missuse. |

| its crazy, i bought the boat from boats unlimited, they packaged the trailer and boat. u would think the deler would help out and het stuff done...... nope!!! they told me "take it up with the manufacturer". so word to the wise, when yall buy a boat ask about the trailer warrenty, get something in writting. because i spent $$$$ on repairs, like tires and wiring. they didnt charge me for the parts like axle, bearings, and bolts. but it was a hassle and a head ache. |

I got a Mcclain and the fender is falling off already at 10 months old. My boat has been in a stall off the trailer for the last three of those months.
