Flag down the next Snap-On or Mac Tools truck you see! They have some really good ones that are not too bad on price! We use them for work and then take them home to fry stuff!!!! LOL

I have one in my truck. I use it for a lot of things like checking for hot spots in
breaker panels or recepticals or for hot spots on the engines on my Chris Craft. Also, you can check to see if your a/c is putting out good in your home. Just shoot the return and outlets to see the temp. difference. I got mine years ago at an a/c distributor for around $100, but you can get them now at Harbor Freight for ~ $25. |

I have a blue point IR thermometer that i found up in a ceiling on a remodle job.
Nice to have around the house and the lazer drives my dog nuts. |

I have a Fluke also.
But it takes more time to set up. The gun, you just point and pull the trigger. Bammm. Instant temperature. |

I got a Fluke 87 volt meter with the temp duhicky you plug into it.
