Finally got the information needed on which fields that are going to be open to the publie for dove hunting.

Have met Mr. Kimmel on some of the fields around Amite & Wilmer several years back, really nice fella.

You can check www.2theadvocate.com in the outdoors section Thursday & there will be a listing of all available fields & acreage of each in the state.

I'm going to the field that the wildlife and fisheries are leasing.......its only leased for saturday.

Yall Know which field wlf is leasing cuz I am on the lease that surrounds the fields they normally lease and i can tell ya what was planted and what they look like now. was just out there last sat doin some deer scouting..

Its the field on the corner of 190 & Beth Cole Rd. ( i think thats the name of the street....map is kind of small.) Its the same field they did last year.

From the map it looks like the field just west of the Beauregard Regional Airport.
