Default Arctic Cat??

Looking into possibly purchasing a side X side.
Any ideas on Arctic Cat products?

They seem to make a smaller one, 550.......

Arctic Crap? Whats an Arctic Crap? The thing that craps out on ya but looks beast.

All kidding aside, I'd personally stay away from Arctic Cats, especially fourwheelers, not sure on side by sides

As much as I dont like popo's..polaris has a good warranty, rhino's are good as long as you stay away from big tires and lots of motor work, and $$$can-am$$$ make awesome power..

i have a diesel kubota sidexside. slow as molasses but it can pull my 20ft gator-tail boat at 15mph and launch it off the levee. just have to watch how you left off the throttle.

used to have the one of the first arctic cat. ran horrible, couldnt pull for nothing. best bet is going with a ranger or rhino if you want to hunt. if you want to ride, go with the can-am

I know my buddy's Arctic Cat 4wheeler shattered the rear end when he was in reverse a couple times. Not sure on the side x sides. Like they said, stay away from huge tires and engine mods.

Junk stay away from it. I traded it to a buddy and I don't know if he is on here, I told him all the problems I had before we swapped but if you want the particulars just pm me. I'd buy the ugly big red if it had a low range.

The big red has 27% lower gear ratio than the Rincon..but still no low gear..they dont look to bad in camo and some rims and tires

Have AC 4 wheeler and prowler. No problems from either. Both have aggressive tires and no lift. Both pretty much live in rives fields. But that's just my experience, not my buddies.

If you want side by side go Polaris ranger .They seem to hold up well in all cituations. I use mine to pull drag in rice field to clear duck ponds with no problems.

Looks have nothing to do with a decision.
Guess I am a little long in the tooth and could care less about bling.
I need the thing to get to and from Blinds and likely pull a boat and/or trailer around the lease.

how about those little Mini trucks??
can drive "trucks" on the roads.
I need the dump bed for the dogs in kennels so a four wheeler I can make work but not ideal.

Mini trucks/Jap trucks are not that good in the marsh. But great in the woods and pastures.
I have a friend with the Bobcat side by side. It is almost 10 years old. They love it, but don't use it in the marsh. Not sure how it would do in the mud.
