ESP Ear Plugs

I'm thinking about buying some custom ESP ear plugs. Does anybody have a pair? If so, what do you think about them???

I have a pair of custom made ear plugs ( an ENT DR friend of mine) . Mine just block out noise. There are some ear plugs that block out noise and yet allow you to hear normal conversations--these types are much more expensive so I stayed with the least expensive custom plugs. They do provide more protection and are easier to put in and out than those foam type ear plugs. I find mine do become a little uncomfortable after using them 2-3 days in a row however. You definitely need some type of protection if you do a lot of shotgunning. I've been using earplugs for 8 or so years now. I'm 57 now and wish I would have been smarter when I was younger as I just had to purchase my first hearing aid. $3,000 bucks later (for just one !!!!) and health insurance co's don't pay a dime for them.

I have several pairs of the plugs that just block out the noise, but I don't like to wear them when I duck hunt because I can't hear when I call or talk to my buddies in the blind. I want to get a pair of the electronic ones that allow you to talk and blow a call, but block out the noise when you shoot.

academy has them for 30 bucks a pair. hearing enhancer and noise reduction. Work great. I use them guiding, and it doesn't hurt billfold as bad when you lose one

I don't know about ESP's??? Think I would prefer the PMS earplugs!

I would like those also, but I think they will cost me alot more than the ESP'S!!

I just bought the ear muffs from Academy that shut off at high decibels and enhance light sounds. I love em. I got a real bad ear infection the other day. Doctor told me it was probably something in the marsh that got in my ear. So I just throw them on as soon as I get out the truck. They were $60.
