Default Missing Boaters From Texas.....

See the flyer below....

Please keep your eyes on the lookout if heading to the Auger area.... Some tide models show that these guys could be headed that direction.... Thanks for the help, feel free to print this out and place it at any Marine / Yacht Basin where you think it may be seen by the offshore crowd.....

Thanks FFF... The Coast Guard is in fact suspending the search unless new developments are made.... Here is a thread on another site that gives a lot more of the story.....

I don't believe they have been found as of now. The TX site has close family members posting on their forum and there is no news of them being located as of now. I am still holding out hope since they have not found any debris.

Saw on the news today where these guys were found adrift aboard the capsized boat. Guess the families and friends prayers were answered.

yes this was amazing,

my dad was telling me that they will have to pay part of the search cost for them?

this makes no sense since we pay taxes to fund the coast guard as it is

i support the guard trust me, but i would not be happy to pay after they gave up searching for me

but in the coast guard defense it looks like the bottom of the boat was blue which would make it hard to see

Man thats scary makes u think a little bit of how big the gulf actually is. But u would think that with all the technology the coastguard has they should have found these guys. Makes me wonder what eles could be going on out there if they couldnt find one boat and they knew a general area to look how they could ever patrol the gulf effectively.

Coasties cant find the boat, call off the search then want to be paid for thier efforts, sounds like a typical gubmint operation.

BossHog ;you right I wonder what else is passing by that they're missing....SK

Ya'll can bad mouth the Coasties all you want. They searched their arses off in this instance and in many more you don't hear about. They didn't find the boaters this time but I like their success rate and their willingness to do the job no matter the conditions. I doubt the survovors will ever be asked for a penny. If they are then it will be because their gross neglinence was the cause of the overturning.
