Made a early morning deer hunt yesterday morning in hopes of seeing some brown. Nothing. Went back to the house around 10:00am to warm up. Left back out about 10:30am to go shoot some fuzzy tails and wood ducks. Walked the creek bank and jumped a rabbit that looked like it weighed 30 lbs. My buddy missed all 3 times. Found a few woodies sitting on a log and my buddy jumped them and dropped all 3 in 2 shots. Dispatched a wounded one with my gun for the heck of it. No fuzzy tails because of the wind, but made a good day out of it nonetheless.
