Joes cove report 3-25-14

Fished joes today.

Caught a lot of rat reds on vudu. 1 red and 1 flounder at 18". North wind started beating up the kayak. Was a slow paddle back to Dugas.

Crossed a wader who also only caught 1 good red.

Brief trip. Good workout.

Horseshoe bayou ? Only fished the larger part of Joes over the reefs.

Thanks for the report. Was wondering if anyone had been fishing! Was thinking about heading out this weekend - will be my first salt trip in my yak.

Where is Joe's cove. Im looking to expand my fishing areas typically fish VBay area but if anyone knows this area its not real good right now.

Joes cove is north of long point lake south of the cut going to spicers. Channel marker 75-77 I'd guess
