2006 Yamaha Four Stroke 50hp
I ran my boat after coming back from crabbing and it was peeing fine. When I went to kill the engine, I heard the alarm and noticed that it wasn't peeing as if it should. It was a little weak and kind of spurting. I killed the engine for a while and made sure my muffs were seated well. I started the engine again and it never pee'd any water. Tonight I dropped the lower unit thinking my impeller had broke. It was still intact and looked brand new. I went ahead and changed it anyway. I hooked the hose to the flush tube and ran the water without the lower unit attached. The water was coming out of the pee hole and coming down out of the where the impeller pumps water. I scratched my head trying to think what the problem could be. If the water ran from the flush tube through the block and down the foot, it seems that there is no blockage??? I reattached the lower unit, cranked her up and still nothing?????? Any thoughts or tips??? |
