Yeah it sure is tough out there when the wind is blowing. Shell keys is east of diamond,but father off the bank. The big reef extends around 4 miles south of marsh island. Can be dangerous if you don't know where the reef starts and ends. Good fishing out there when the river is falling.

i'm gonna have to check that out. I much rather fish reefs than rigs. I can't figure out the best way to fish a damn rig. How much farther south is it than Diamond? Is there any way to know that I am there and need to start watching depth or anything? I always do watch depth but is there anything visual i can look for?
