Yep, they are nice boats. Yep, they are fast boats. I have the first 1556 they built, high 45" deck and bench seat across the back. Boat weighs 352 pounds empty. I run a 4 cylinder, 4 stroke, EFI, Merc with a 60 ecu. With me, a 12 gallon fuel tank, large starting battery, with my fishing prop, boat runs 52 mph, add aother 200# man, boat runs 49 mph. Handles like a pad boat, turns on a dime. Give me a day or two notice if you want a test ride....
