Thinking about taking Wed off and fishing. Low tide at Calcasieu pass is at 7:54am. High tide is about 2:30. How long after low tide reaches its lowest does it take before it start to move towards high tide. In other words how long will there be a period of slack tide. I am not sure I know what I am doing when I read tide tables. The high tide will be 1.7 is that good or bad? I iwll probably be fishing the south end.
