I find it keeps ice just a long as the normal type coolers. I like it since the hinges and latches are SS. I have a 35 qt Yeti and main reason I like these high end coolers is because the hardware is a lot more durable. I am kicking my self in the you know what for not getting a 65QT RTIC when they were on sale on their wed site several weeks ago.

I may have gotten a bad one. You could latch the lid on that thing, stand it on end or lay it on side and pour the water out faster than pouring from a bucket. Zero seal on that thing. It's in my shop being used for storage now lol.
