Default Never know till you try! Big Lake 3/22/10

Had the day off today and checking the conditions I saw there was a severe low water advisory, and a NW wind blowing at 12mph around 11:00am this morning. I decided to go anyway with Cajun Elite, and it turned out to be my best trip this year. Had one under 8lb.'s that nearly took my rod out of my hand then jumped like a tarpon, ripping drag. They were chasing mullet all around us at dark, unreal very cool to see. Very good trip today! Not one under 6lb.s---Just never know till you go out there....All fish were released, just can't stand to kill those big girls think I love them to much, haha!
