Default Big Lake 5-1-10... tough day...

Went to Big Lake this morning-- hoping to use the strong south wind to my advantage. I got to my spot and the tide was doing what it was supposed to be doing. But, it was much stronger than I wanted. The flounder were there. But, they were feeding on top the water. Everyone knows what that means... tough to catch! Tried gulp- caught 1. Used the cast net to catch the fish they were feeding on (mullet and small pogey)- caught 1. Then put the fish under a cork to suspend the bait- caught 1. Ended the short morning with just 3 flounder. Was out of the water by 9:00 a.m. I knew I was beatin.
