Default interesting potlicking story

Last year i made a trip to grand isle without the boat to do some wade-fishing. well me and my father caught a few on the island, but then we decided to go to fourchon. he stayed around the truck and i took off walking to where i saw some birds diving. There was one boat in the area and he was on his trolling motor further out catching a few every now and then. I start casting off the beach into the first trough and i start wailing on nice trout 14-18" long. boat sees me, and runs right up on me. i'm about knee deep and he tries to get his 24 foot triton right on top of me. baits flying all around, it was madness. they got so close to where i could hit them with the tip of my rod, and that is when i lost it. I dont think they ever heard such colorful language in there whole lives. the one thing i told them that sticks out in my mind the most is "i dont have a boat, yall do. Why cant you go find your own fish instead of running up on me in knee deep water?" cat had their tongue. luckily, they got frustrated because every time they moved out a few feet i'd haul in another trout. it was priceless. I'd never run up on someone in the water no matter how many fish he was catching.
