I have a '96 GMC Sierra that i'm kinda fixing up for a hunting truck being that my honda accord is not suited for such an endevor. It is miserable to ride in because of the lack of a/c. I have recharged the compressor with freon. and it worked for about two days and the safety switch prevented it from continuing to work as the freon leaked out... So there is apparently a crack in the compressor... i would really love to not have to replace the whole thing... does anyone know of anything i can use to find the leak or plug the leak to save me a couple of hundred bucks? if anyone has any personal experience or tips or product names it would be greatly appreciated... Thank You my salty commrads
