and the keepers on Opening Night Deadly Dudley's. Moved to the East end of the rocks
closer to Holly Beach and saw a lot of finger mullet along the edge of the water, but
nothing at the rocks. Water lot more muddy to the East. Didn't stay long. Brought
the dinks home, filleted them and my wife and I ate them for lunch.
Dusted the fillets with Old Bay seasoning and black pepper. Dusted with cracker
meal and pan fried them in olive oil butter. Talk about good. If I would have caught
15 trout, I think we would have eaten 30 fillets.
Nice. 2 of my buddies went this morning. Said they caught 4-5 trout at the surf then moved to the ship channel and caught 6-7 trout. Havent talked to him since they left the channel, they were heading back to the surf. They said u could see the green water in the distance. Hopefully, by tom morning that green water will have reached the beach.
