As a group of concerned citizens we need to show importance in numbers. This is our sureness to get law makers to move and take action.

We are not here to cease oyster fishermen from making a living , but to modify the method in which they use in our estuary

We will be heard and that was a promise!

Our mission is to make Lake Calcasieu oyster harvest use of tongs only, or the option to rotate dredging in once every five years.

We also want to have an oyster re seeding program for our lake!
