Big Lake ,Should of Been Here Yesterday!

What a day on the water! Two days after the full moon in March and all I wanted to do was look for Big Trout. Chris Reed ,Brett Slusher and I talked last night about fishing all day for the one!

Our 1st stop was on and we picked up numerous soild fish with one 6lber. Wind blew us off that area. We headed to another zone where we could not catch a small trout! We released all trout over 5 1/2 lbs unless it was gill hooked. Most on topwater and suspending baits. One drift we caught 4 over 6lbs and one right at 7lb. All fish were in 2ft of water or less.

Chris lost the fish of a lifetime 15inchs from the net The sow smashed his topwater and was a drag puller! Had it almost in hand then wham....Bait flys out.... I think all 3 of us wanted to throw up!
