Default Monday's Pilgrimage Voyage

Had the Two East side Pilgrims Bayouchub and Purebay(wants a Haynie)

Fished damn near sun up to sun down! Winds peak up to 30mph and hung in the mid 20's all day! Despite that problem we managed to pull together a good trip.
Fishing started off slow on the catching in but we witnessed trout smashing huge schools of shad and shrimp but they did not want plastic

They wanted to go see some waves!! Well we cut across some 2fers to get to the 3 to 4 fters...and I would bet a 5 was involved somewhere!!

After running around a few hours for a fish here and a fish there, we ended up where we started.

3 hours before dark the topwater bite exploded..... We had blow ups just about every other cast and lost way more than we boated but thats was the fun in it.

We all 3 caught some real nice fish and the biggest was 5 1/2lbs which I let go (full of eggs)

All in all nice box of fish to a long day of fishing............
