Default timbalier bay 5-7-11

since i poured the slab for my house thursday ive had a few down days b4 we start framing it .headed out of cocodrie friday am ( posted other report) And this morning i took my girlfriend out of fourchon . we hit open water at 515 am and got to the islands while it was still pretty dark the sun was just starting to creep up. we got on a fast bite but the fish were alot smaller today than yesterday. we caught probally 100-125 trout and kept 50 had a few around 2-3 lbs but most were 12-13 inches . topwater bite didnt last as long today as it did yesterday but i still probally ccaught 25 on top the rest on curly tail grubs. talked to a guy at the car wash who had a 2 man limit of 2-5 lb trout from the same area ....fish are stacked down there right now water is so so on the north sides of the islands and really pretty green color in the coves of the islands
