Default What a day on Big Lake with some close calls!!

Well we started off the morning great with a box full of trout and i caught my first triple tail and then the lightning started popping and the wind was picking up as well as the seas. So we headed towards cal point and it got bad! Stopped at Heberts for the weather to pass over and it kept getting worse. Luckily I ran into AdamsFence(good man right there!) and he gave me a ride back to cal point to get my truck and on the way back to Heberts it rained, and hailed it's arse off. Getting close to Heberts in this tornadic activity there is a damn tree down in the road, some guy had a chain saw so we got the tree cut up in this monsoon and back to Heberts I'm headed. Sit down in the bar to chill, drink a beer and wait on the weather to pass and my buddy told me hey man I put the plugs back in the boat for ya(scupper hole plugs). WHAT! Look outside my boat is full of water, luckily I caught it soon before it was to late almost had my boat go down on me! Scary feeling there but everything was all good no harm done and home safely with a bunch of fish!
