Default Butte 6/23

Conditions seemed to be perfect yesterday afternoon, overcast with light drizzle. We put in in the canal around 3pm and on my 4th cast a nice bass smashed my frog. So we thought it was ON! but it was not. We did not boat another fish all afternoon. The water is clear but it looks really black, not sure if thats good or bad. We ended up missing a few more decent fish and had the gar hitting the frogs to keep it interesting. Didnt see many other boats. Not sure what the deal was, at least we didnt scratch. Im waiting on Trev to send me the pic and ill post it. All i have now is a pic of this gator that destroyed his frog and got hooked in the leg.
