Well, for one the Blackjack is a boat with a cap. The Haynie's have wood whereas the Blackjack's do not. Now, Chris says that the wood is all glassed over, so, we'll see. If Bill Kenner makes a 24' Blackjack, you will see them all over the lake, as they will be a lifetime hull. I would be going from 24' to 22.5' fishing 3 people plus me everyday. Not sure how it will be. THe Haynie is 24' and just a little narrower than the BJ. Ultimately, 2 great boats with different pros and cons. It's all about preference.
