School Board Leases.
Just got back from a committe meeting with the Vermilion Parish School Board.
Me and 5 friends were their to place a bid for a school board section So. of Pecan Island. Not even a full section about 465 acres. The present lease holder had the proir 5 years for about $6,800/yr. 4 bids. Our's was read 2 nd. $15,500. The leassors had a partner (Member), bid against him. 31K. The leasse holder bid $37,000. That's F ing CRAZY. COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Can any of you believe that Money! Biggun
