Venice Snapper Trip
Left Sunday morning at 2 a.m. for Venice. Left Venice marina for 6:30 and headed out for some snapper. Hooked up all day but couldn't get them suckas away from the rigs. Lost all my weights to the rigs. Managed to finish out limit chumming and free lining. This was my first trip to venice and I absolutely fell in love with the place. I never thought in louisiana you could go 10 miles from the coast and be in 120 ft of water. I saw a 16ft flat bottom out there catching snapper.
