FWC Trout Slam
Hit FWC early Friday morning with Keeawe and headed straight to the honey hole hoping to have a repeat of last weekend, but the well was dry. We made a short move and began to hammer some sows. Ended the day with 45 nice trout with most going 2-4lbs and several over 5.
Saturday, a buddy of mine joined me for his first trip of the year and we hammered the trout. His first cast he caught a trout and his second cast he caught two. Trout were smaller on Saturday, but we caught our 50 by 9:30. Lots of Spanish and sharks mixed in.
