Finally got my boat out the shop getting the lower unit replaced. Went down to Hackberry and stayed at my uncle's camp Thursday night. Went out with my dad Friday morning. We caught 10 trout and 1 red by 10:30 and my dad said he wasn't mad at em and was ready to head in. Biggest went about 5.5
Would post a better pic of it but it would be hard not to tell exactly where I was. Will be there this Saturday. And I don't wanna ragged for painting out the background.

Friday night my buddy who just bought a new boat wanted to come follow me around with his wife. Specksndasurf and I got 20 and my buddy and wife, 10.
Had a great time on the water. Got on some of the big bull reds like everyone else in the middle of the lake. Shrimp jumping in the middle of the lake. We landed a few and turned em loose. Then by lunch we were all about to have heat strokes so we headed in.

Majority of the fish were caught on plastics with a few nicer ones on top.

Sunday I brought my little girl to my uncles pond and we put the smack down on some slab brim but we were just turning em loose. He had a jug line set in the pond and it comes flying by me. My uncle got in the boat with my little girl and they went catch it. Big ole cat!
