Default A day with "W"

OK, I went fishing with "W" today. We met at Hebert's at 0600h this morning and took off to our first location on the ship channel. Once we got there and set up, we were able to catch our first 8 trout pretty quick. The tide started moving out and we made a move farther down the channel to find some more trouts. Low and behold after casting for about 10 minutes the fish started biting, not fast but a good solid bite. While we were at this location the tide started ripping and the bite shut down. Instead of making a move we opted to put on a 3/8oz lead head in place of the 1/4oz that we had been using. The 3/8oz seemed to be just what the fish wanted as we started catching as soon as we started casting again. All fish were caught on the Tidal Surge Lures Maniac Mullet in Limetreuse.

Once we finished our limit of 30 trout we moved out of the way to let Cajun Phil and Bill Dance move into our spot so they could catch some fish on film.
