Dance Reef Report

Hi Guys!!!

Just a short report. I arrived early yesterday morning @ The "REEFS" .

About 4 boats in the general area. Drifted and changed 2 rods to lighter jigheads. One with Topwater.

Trolled back up to the reef and started casting a light colored swim-bait.

Good tide movement. 15 minutes later . A light thump. Trout one got off.

3 casts after that; a hard thump. First trout with "A HOL LOTTA SHAKING GOING ON".

Next 20 minutes boat 4 nice specks. The a few small 14" males.

Started trolling around the reef as a few of the boats left and I had a good portion of the reef to myself.

I'd pickup one here and one there. Ended the day about 10:30 AM with about 13-15 trout. 8 over 18"- 23".

Ran to the east and made one stop which resulted in one 24" red and 2 lost nice trout.

Water was BEAUTIFUULLLL on the reef. NO fish on TW. About 3 blowups only.

Left to run by recreational crab traps on the way back to the landing.

Picked up some nice crabs to boil tomorrow night.

Thanks

Biggun

PSS. Let me know if any of will be going to the CCA SUGAR BANQUET
TONITE in the BERRY!

PPSSS. When I got the landing, I had 4 missed calls. A friends son was fishing the surf @ holly beach and SMOKINGGG THE TROUT.
