Me and Rockfish made an afternoon trip to BL yesterday and had a grand time! Weather was awesome and none of the storms hit us. We got on some birds right away and T I T M! Caught about 60-70 trout mutilating some shrimp and had 1 keeper. It was amazing. I have never run into a school with no keepers like that before. Pickles galore. Skitterwalks and silver/chartreause tail H&H's were the baits. We left them biting to look for something else and ended up smacking some perfect size redfish. 3 times we doubled up. Limit of reds and 1 trout. Caught fish the whole time. Can't complain about that. If I could ever get the seagulls to stop picking my Skitterwalk up off the water, maybe I could get a redfish to take it. Its Salty Shaw's fault. He started it!
