Default Grand isle borrow pits

My dad and I went to grand isle Friday morning. Stopped along la 1 and fished at the borrow pits on a rising tide. Gar were rolling in the water big time. We caught two small whites and had a few hits but nothing great. Eman on here was a huge help and his advice was extremely helpful. This morning before daylight we went to Elmer's island bridge and first cast we caught an 11" speck and nothing else there at the bridge. Went back to the borrow pits and caught another two whites and a ribbon fish. Our fishing involved all artificial some on the bottom and some under cork. My dad and I determined that after this week after 30 degree lows for 5 days the fish will be moving in. Because they definitely aren't all the way in.
Hope this helps!

Thanks again eman!!
