BL in the cold 1/14/12

Decided to hit the water Sat despite the 36 degree weather. First spot ventured to didnt hold any fsh. Saw a small group of birds sitting soo we tried em. Managed to pick up 3 trout and 2 reds there. Moved on to next hole and picked up 3 more trout. Made a long run to go check out the salt ditch and couldnt buy a bite. Did however pick up 4 more reds in another location. Ended up catching 6 trout and 6 reds with 2 reds being over the size my bro wanted to keep. Slow slow day. Water was pretty for about an hour then muddied real quick. Was nice to see only three boats on the lake. Made me feel a little sane. Back at the launch by 1030.
