Post Front, February Smackdown 2-25-12

Who says you can't catch trout the day after a front or in February? LOL. Dularge was on fire today as we busted up some nice 14-19 inch trout. Jonas & Aaron Golden joined me once again for another great trip to add to the books. The fish were hungry and feeding aggresively, as they were hitting the baits extremely hard. Avocado Matrix Shad and Texas Tackle Factory Killer Flats Minnows in Chicken On a Chain wore the trout out with blueback and LSU colored swimbaits holding their own. Slow steady retrieve is what the fish wanted as they devoured the baits. We never saw another boat all day, guess the weather scared a bunch of folks off. You guys that didnt go missed out!! It was good as it gets even with the strong winds blowing right after the front. Thanks again guys, great company and full box of fish as always.
