Cheers Trout Catching Continues 2-28-12

Another good day busting up the trout Down In Dularge. Capt Chris Venable and I jumped on board with Capt Joel Wakeland this morning. Once we had enough light to see through the fog, we were headed South. The trout were waiting on us at our first stop. Double and triple hook ups as the trout were hungry. Texas Tackle Factory Killer Flats Minnows in Chicken On a Chain, avocado Matrix Shad, and the Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad wore the trout out. Slow steady retrieve as usual is what they wanted. Once the bite slowed down we did some scouting and caught fish at two out of three other locations. The fish are on the move so stick and move till you find them. Don't waste a lot of time in one spot if your not getting bites, keep moving until you find them. Lots of bait showing up in the lakes, but we will need the wind to calm and water to clear up before it gets good out there. Good times as always guys, thanks.
Thank goodness for the Swamp Swatter today, some of the protected areas we fished had the gnats pretty bad. Couple sprays of Swamp Swatter and no more, thank goodness. Great product guys, first spray I use that actually works.
