A buddy of mine said they were catching some sacalait last week so a friend and I decided to make a little trip and give it a try, fished a couple spots under I-10 and caught some small bass and a couple sacalait then moved on to the canal on the right and was able to catch a few in the downed trees with red and chartreuse jigs , ended with 14 . I think we could have done a lil better if the wind would have not been blowing so hard.
