Mermentau River basin to be restocked with 25,000 bass
The Mermentau River basin will soon be home to 25,000 more bass, thanks to the restocking efforts of a state representative and a local professional fisherman.
On April 26, several areas of the Mermentau River basin will be restocked with bass fingerlings allocated by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (DWF).
