Hit the Mermentau today.
The wife and I went to the river late this afternoon. Caught a few dinks and no keepers. The fish are holding to structure in 8-10ft of water and doesnt matter how far off the bank. Got alot of short strikes you could se em toying with the jig by watching the cork. We didn't have shiners and maybee that would have been the ticket. I personally think in about a week that place will be on fire, but what do I know.
