Default Black Lake area 5-25

Well, when I finally got to hackberry to meet up with the brother in law, I was greeted by wind that made me not even want to go out, but havin driven all the way from lafayette, talked him into showing me around black lake. We went and set up at one of his spots, and started throwin, and started catchin. Only problem was, they were ALL just short of keepers. Moved around in there, and same thing, we caught, but all dinks. Started boat ridin a little, him showing me that area, and on the way out through elmer's bayou (i think) I wanted to stop and try just one more spot. We did, and wham, 3 big girls one after another! A little while later, one flounder, then after that we just caught croakers. Decided to call it a day a little while later. Not a great day, but definately a good one! Caught the trout on white/chart swimmin mullets, croakers on shrimp.
