Basin - Crew Boat Chute
The wife and I spent about 8 hours yesterday until after dark in Crew Boat Chute in the Atchafalaya Basin.
We fished KVD crankbaits and spinnerbaits in white and wh/blue/chart. We caught one or two on these baits but, we didn't really start catching until I switched to the copperhead bandit worm which is a copy of the Culprit mocassin worm. We wound up catching about 20 under 14 inches and 2 keepers over 14 inches.
