Default today..blue bird day at big lk

wow ..

started with mantra

dont care if i dont catch a fish..weather so nice

what a beautiful day//me and wifey..

started out ar turners..water stained..thought it would be pretty w/ north winds..
1 red

headed to comm pt..water looking better as we headed south..nada there..

fished east bank..heading south..water looked much better..got a few..slow..and several under aged

headed further south ..water got bettter....hit a few reefs south..and caught better..found some birds in the middle of the lake and caught some mo.....weirs were occupied...but open...we caught nada there...

moral to the story is that the water south of the lake is georgous...i almost headed for the channel because of recent front.....

btw..we were slinging live shrimp...some say no-no///a guide boat came near us,,,and the sports et al were slinging plastico s..they caught zip..not being
negative towards guides and sports..just sayin..just cause ya slingin live shchrimpp ..dont mean ya slackin..still gotta be where fish might be,,

sorry..i digress

the gist of my report is that the water down south is awesome..hook it up and go..
