Default Vbay boat parade 11/3

Took the family to join in the boat parade saturday. Got there around 7am. Birds everywhere just outside the Quintana. Mostly sandies and small specks. Played catch and release for a while then headed to hammock. Birds not working much there, hit a few flocks but it was slow. Picked up some really nice quality specks trolling around.
Headed to blue point, birds and more sandies/small specks. Moved to trash pile, more sandies. Ended with 5 nice specks and kept 6 decent sand trout. The fish will hit just about anything right now as far as bait, tried white, glow/chart, chicken on a chain, rat-tails and paddle-tails under corks and tightlined. Bigger trout in the Hammock right now, other spots we tried holding smaller fish.

It was an absolute awesome day to be on the water, weather was beautiful, no wind, calm water. Great day with the family.

The launch and parking lot was a madhouse.
