Default Pheasant/snipe hunt and beatdown

We had a blast this last Friday. Literally. Buddy of mine had a dog he wanted to work. He bought 9 pheasants and wanted to work his pointer with them. He needed someone to help him kill the pheasants when his dog flushed them. Me and some other friends reluctantly helped him.

We flushed most of the pheasants, all but two actually. One of them got up and flew about a mile away. We only killed 6. I shot the head off of one (man they fly slow).

The real fun started after the pheasant flush. We saw hundreds of snipe and we had a little wind. We picked up 38 snipe total. It was so fun and my ADD was flaring. I would drop a snipe with one shot and then shoot at two others on my way to pick up the dead one. When you lose a mark on a snipe chances are it is over, you won't find him! Once I got over the idiocracy I started going right to the bird I killed regardless of what I flushed on the way to it. It was good and bad, I would miss like 12-15 times in a row and then connect on my next three.....Nuts!
