Depends on the type of fish you are targeting and the time of year you are fishing. For myself,the fall bite in the bay has always been very productive. Also you need to monitor the salinity level in the bay. I had numerous trip this fall when we caught our limit in weeks bay, and Hammock. The Cove can be very productive, however it can get rather crowded for such a small area. Please do not take this comment the wrong way, but knowing how to fish can be very helpful....not running your motor over the area you want to fish. Using the wind and current to your advantage, looking for baitfish and clean water. The bay can be hit or missed for a lot anglers, however spending time on the water and learning the area, has always been the trick for me.
