Default 04-22 BL Afternoon

Made a trip yesterday afternoon with Ken looking for fish and getting some R&R from work. Found the water to be horrible in Turners but did find a couple of small sets of birds working in Turners and just south of Turners. Dink trout were under the birds and decided to move on and ended up in Joe’s Cove making some drifts and catching some trout and reds. The reds were all at 16 are just under and the trout were all well over 15 and if we would have been keeping no measuring would have to take place. The water in Joe’s Cove was clear enough you could see the bottom in two foot of water. The wind was stiff at time and then a light breeze at times. We arrived on a incoming tide and left on a outgoing tide. It was a good day to be on the water catching some fish and relaxing away from work.

The baits used were the Vudu Natural shrimp and Vudu Magic shrimp under a cork and just bounced off the bottom. The wedgtail Green Chili Pepper was also used in the same manner on a 1/4 beer belly jig head.
