Default Toledo Bend 5/9

Fished Toledo Bend for a bit this morning. Caught 14 White Perch on and off slow trolling jigs, Fish were suspended about 12-15ft down in 18-22ft water.

The bite seemed to turn off on the WP and i happened to see some brim beds. Since i also just happened to have some worms along for the ride .........

ended up with 20 or so nice sized bull brim to add to the pot as well.

overcast day but winds were pretty low. had a couple of what looked like F-15's buzzing back and forth over the lake (guess they must be based out of barksdale or somewhere?)

I think some of the guys in the big bass rigs with 250 hp motors were probably a bit envious of how fast those jets were going.

All in all a good day, with 4 more bags of filets and 1 bag of whole brim into the freezer.
