Trailer Heads Up

A few guys I know have got tickets recently for having trailers with missing items.

1. light for the license plate
2. In addition to to the tow strap you need a strap coming straight down from the bow eye to the trailer. It must be on the framing on the trailer and not the king post. This is to prevent the bow from rising up.
3. A strap is needed either across the back of your boat tied to the trailer or 2 straps from the stern eyes connected to the trailer.

Take it for its worth but I know 2 people who received tickets, one was for not having his bow or stern tied down the other got a warning for no light on his license plate.
