French Toast Kind Of Morning

Up early this morning after a cup of cffee and a little hungry I thought "Well, stale French bread! Hmmm..... FRENCH TOAST!!!"
Mixed a few eggs, a little nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar and milk. Sliced the bread on a bias , soaked and in a pan with a little melted butter.

Looking good!

How do you like yours? A little melted butter and powdered sugar?

Or, melted butter, a little powdered sugar and a little drizzle of BACON syrup?

I had some of both and it was great.
